The swivel can be locked and loosened with the help of a clamping screw. At both ends there is a 1/4 inch standard screw with mounting adapter. The articulated arm can be attached to both a tripod thread, a tripod screw and a standard hot shoe. The above 1/4 inch standard screw can be attached e.g. the camera or accessories and the lower one can then be screwed into a 1/4 inch thread. If you want the camera to move freely on a tripod, this can be achieved by attaching the connector with the 1/4 inch screw to the articulated arm. To attach the arm to a camera hot shoe or flash tilt, simply screw the hot shoe adapter additionally.
