High-quality Heinick snaffle with tapered nose strap and anatomical headpiece. The Heinick Performance Bridle is characterised by its conical nose strap with soft padding. Similar to the Hannoverschem noseband, the conical noseband is tapered towards the sides, leaving more space on the left. In contrast to the Hannoverschem noseband, the Heinick performance bridle with conical noseband and Swedish clasp is also suitable for horses with shorter mouth gap.
Nose strap:
A tapered nose strap is wider in the middle (approx. 4 cm) than on the sides (approx. 2.5 cm). This means that the noseband leaves more space on the legs and the bit rings and no longer constricts the mouth. This improves the freedom of movement in the mouth area and can also have a very positive effect on horses with dental and teething problems. Even with anatomical features, for example, if the mouth gap and yoke bone are rather close together, a conical nose strap is particularly suitable.
Noseband:
The Swedish noseband is characterised by the deflection buckle on the chin and the additional soft chin padding. This deflection buckle is particularly comfortable for the horse thanks to the soft padding and the larger contact surface, and for the rider.
The deflection buckle on the Swedish noseband prevents pinching of the skin and is for the rider to close without effort. The noseband of the Swedish bridle is slightly wider than the English version, which is also the reason why many horses take the Swedish noseband better.
Headpiece:
The performance bridle is equipped with an anatomical headpiece with ear freedom. This headpiece has two cut-outs behind the horses ears, which protects the ear and provides better freedom of movement. In addition, the headpiece has a wider contact surface and a slightly curved shape, which ensures optimal pressure distribution in the neck.
