LeBron Raymone James Sr. (* December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio) is an American basketball player who has been playing at the Los Angeles Lakers in the North American profile league NBA since the 2018/19 season. From 2010 to 2014 he was active for the Miami Heat. For his first team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, he stood under contract from 2003 to 2010, as well as from 2014 to 2018. James is 2.06 metres tall and usually runs as a small forward, but usually takes over the tasks of a classic point guard, a so-called point forward. In allusion to previous English kings, he is called "King James". James is considered one of the most outstanding athletes in basketball sports.
