●Features: the hand-crafted girth has real lambskin on one side and a sturdy and heavy-duty quilting fabric on the other. The buckles and D-rings are made of stainless steel. The wool pile height is approx. 30 mm. The length is measured from buckle to buckle.
●Fit: the inner, shorter sickle shape goes at the front, towards the front legs. The long, convex outer side goes to the abdomen. The anatomical form fits around the curve of the abdomen and prevents slipping. Beneficial for horses with the belt position in front of the saddle position or with "more" abdomen. Thanks to the special cut, elbow freedom is guaranteed.
●Benefits: lambskin is particularly suitable for girths because it is cuddly and reduces shear forces. Lambskin is also breathable and temperature regulating, as the air between the fibres can circulate well. This makes our belt especially suitable for warm summer days, as the real fur reliably wicks away sweat so that your horse stays pleasantly dry. Thanks to the antibacterial effect, this lambskin girth is particularly suitable for horses with sensitive skin.
●Environmental responsibility: all our lambskins are made in our own tannery exclusively with the use of renewable energy, with particular attention to sustainability.
●Care instructions: our girth is machine washable with a lambskin detergent (recommendation: Christ C7) and can also be tumble dried. Due to the movement in the tumble dryer, the wool stays smooth and supple for longer.
