In late medieval years, a variant of the Gambeson developed due to the arrival of the plate armour .

While the Gambeson was thickly lined to be worn under a chain shirt, a thinner, lighter and more flexible variant could be worn under the plate equipment.

The armour from Get Dressed for Battle is made from cotton and padded with wool layers.

In contrast to other armour warmers, which are only provided with a synthetic filling, it remains therefore also wearable in summer.

We offer the armour in 3 different colours: black, natural and red.

The following sizes are available: size M: length 67.5 cm, chest 115 cm / size L: length 70 cm, chest 120 cm / size XL: length 72.5 cm, chest 125 cm / size XXL: length 73.8 cm, chest 127.5 cm.
