Pelham with tongue bar
A classic with a refined and elegant design. When accepting the rein, the bit acts on mouth, lower jaw and neck. Depending on the leverage length of the suits (5 cm - max. 7 cm) is a different thickness and immediate bite angle in the mouth.
Possible use in horses that have difficulty going through the neck, in hot horses or even in horses that have a significant impact in critical situations (jerking or similar). .
The tongue bar has a special, flattened shape of the bow. The tongue gets an optimal place for it. Many horses react to this with improved release and increased chewing activity.
This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that readily tolerate conventional shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and with headshots etc. . But the bit is also suitable for so-called tongue players who try to stretch their tongue over the bit, as the bow effectively prevents this. With a height of 30 mm, the bow is fully permitted according to LPO.
