Why do stains?

If pots stand in a damp environment for a long time, water stains may occur. Adding salt and stirring before the water boils, the pot base may cause stains. By boiling limescale water, limescale stains or blue iridescent discolouration may occur inside the pot. After preparing starchy food, such as potatoes, lentils or even pasta, stains can be left behind. Please note the following instructions easy to clean. Store pot well dried. Please only add salt in already boiling water and stir. The use of vinegar for cooking pots can help eliminate limescale deposits, discolouration or stains. In stubborn cases, we recommend the use of a stainless steel care product.

Slightly inward curved base

As all fabrics expand when heated and pots are heated from the bottom, stretch when cooking, roasting etc. For this reason, our 3-layer capsule base pot also has a slightly curved or concave base. This ensures that the base expands with each heating of the cookware and rests completely flush on the hob surface, which ensures stability and optimal heat transfer .

Note:

Never heat the stainless steel empty, but always with contents or a splash of grease. Please heat the stainless steel gently and slowly. When you are finished cooking, you should not immerse the pot in cold water. This can lead to a thermal shock where the cooking pot warpes.

Instructions for cleaning in the dishwasher

If pots stand in a damp environment in the dishwasher for a long time, water stains may occur. In the dishwasher, foreign rust can be transferred to the stainless steel cookware through other items. Some salt concentration/detergent for dishwasher can cause corrosion. If you clean glass lids in the dishwasher, there may be cloudiness on the glass.

For these reasons, cookware made of stainless steel can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but we recommend cleaning by hand. If you wash in the dishwasher, we recommend you read the instructions carefully.

Precautions and suggestions for use

If you are allergic to nickel, you should better use a coated variant.

Incorrect cooking methods can cause the pot to burn. You can clean it as follows:

1. Mix in equal parts water and white vinegar, add a tablespoon of baking soda.

2. Once foam builds, place your stainless steel pans on the stovetop and let them cook for 10 minutes.

3. Then allow the mixture to cool and rub the base with a non-abrasive brush.

To avoid scratches, please do not scrub the dish floor with sharp items. Otherwise we suggest that you cook the cookware better with nylon or wooden kitchen utensils.
