Extremely gentle on the material.
Unlike other sanding discs and brushes, you work with a disc very gentle on the material, no material removal takes place on metal. Only coatings such as varnishes, tinder, tarnishing paints, etc. are removed without removing healthy metal.
Very good for removing rust and varnishing.
Rust should not be removed with rotating wire brushes in drill or flex/angle grinder! In this method, the rust mixes/smears with the removal from the material of the wire brush and is incorporated into the healthy metal. It then creates a silver/black layer that looks rust-proof but it is not. New rust is pre-programmed. This layer can then no longer be removed.
