Description
Installation flange made of stainless steel for mounting a diesel auxiliary heater, suitable for the air heater Autoterm Air 2D (formerly Planar 2D), as well as auxiliary heaters from other manufacturers (Webasto, Eberspächer, etc.) with the same hole pattern.
With the flange, the effort of installing the air heater in the floor of the vehicle can be reduced to a minimum. Choose a flat and straight surface for installation. There must be no load-bearing or statically relevant body parts under the installation location. Cut a corresponding rectangle into the ground, mount the installation flange, and seal it with sealant (not included).
The installation flange has all the necessary openings for the connections for the air intake for the combustion chamber, the fuel line, as well as the exhaust pipe, so that the elaborate measurement and precise drilling for these openings are eliminated.
