Description

Product description

The history of the Italian company RMS, which has always produced first-class spare parts and accessories for scooters dates back to 1945.

The Vespa has no pressure supply to the carburettor with petrol, as you know from modern automatic scooters with petrol pumps. The tank is located above the carburettor and is equipped with a fuel tap (outlet). The petrol runs down to the engine according to gravity when the tap is open. If over the years the fuel tap is clogged with residues and dirt and no longer has a good passage, it can quickly be critical with continuous full throttle on the highway (higher fuel quantity required). The motor leans and clamps.

Therefore, after many years, the fuel tap can also be replaced. Always install a new seal!

To disassemble, use special fuel tap mounting key, as the mounting nut sits inside the tank.

Note: does not fit PK 50 & 125 Automatica models.

With reserve.
