Universal heat protection

Our self-adhesive heat protection film serves as an additional insulation of objects that can be found near "hot" vehicle components or other heat sources, such as Oven. fireplace, barbecue, etc. The Silent Sport heat protection film is therefore used, for example, to protect bug spoilers, trim parts and luggage cases on the motorcycle, but also as a heat protection near stovetops, tiled stoves, fireplaces, to protect furniture, refrigerators, near grills, in use around caravans and other objects that should be protected from high heat.

Founded in 1998 by the inventor of Silent Sport, the first fibreglass material specially developed as a muffler filling, the company specialises in the development and production of patented insulation mouldings and heat protection applications.

Note:

The film effectively protects against radiant heat, not against contact heat. Therefore, it is important that there is an air gap of at least 3 mm between the heat source and the applied film (at a lower distance no effect is achieved). For protecting motorcycle luggage suitcases or textile saddle bags, which have a large area with the heat protection film against the heat source (e.g. exhaust), you even need to keep a distance of at least 3 cm. Also make sure that the surface to be glued is thoroughly cleaned and degreased.
