Pear wood is cut into blocks

When the wood arrives, it is cut into blocks of pear wood, which can be used to carve out the brushes. The wood is grown in Austria and in the Black Forest and each tree is replaced in sustainable forestry.

Boar bristles in bundles before tufting

The boar bristles come in bundles and are then carefully hand selected to be tufted into the brush. The bristles in a beard brush must be irregular to penetrate through the beard and reach the skin.

Pear wood handles are tufted

When the boar bristles are selected and trimmed, they are aligned with the wooden handles and tufted into the handles. Then they undergo a manual quality test one by one.
