The ZilberHaar pocket beard brush is made in Germany by craftsmen from a solid piece of pear wood. The pure boar bristles make an effective and high-quality beard brush. The brush size has been designed to keep it in the office, in the car, in your travel kit or in your toiletry bag wherever you need it.

When we worked with the brush makers to make the ZilberHaar pocket beard brush by hand, we wanted to maintain our tradition of quality and natural feeling. The brush is not painted, but oiled. The bristles are all boar bristles. Because boar bristles are the first, natural bristles you can use, the irregular cut is designed to pass through the beard and reach the skin underneath.

Why should you brush your beard?
As your beard grows, the skin under your beard produces oils that moisturise the skin, helping the follicles grow the beard. But the skin renews itself and needs help to remove dry skin. Brushing your beard every day is not just there to make it look beautiful, it is essential to exfoliate your skin under the beard.
Brushing your beard may feel hard at first, this is normal, your skin may not be used to it. But if you do it daily, you will learn to love it. When you brush your beard, you activate the oil production on your face, which in turn helps to soften your beard and give it back its natural shine. Daily brushing can help create an evenly growing beard. Brushing your beard while the beard grows, can help avoid ingrown hair.
