Eliminating mucus and other debris from the nose can be especially helpful if you have a cold. After a few days of use, you may find that you prefer nasal washes over over-the-counter medications. An advantage of this nasal rinse bottle is that it is easy to clean and anti-inflammatory. Although it is dishwasher safe without the plastic melting or deforming, we recommend hand washing as it is more hygienic. How to use it:

Step 1: Wash your hands before beginning. Fill the nasal rinse to the filling line with lukewarm distilled water or previously boiled water. Step 2: Add a packet of nasal rinse salt and pour it into the water. Tighten the cap and hose to the travel neti jug. Shake the nasal rinse can gently to dissolve the mixture. Step 3: Stand in front of a sink, bend forward until it is comfortable for you, and tilt your head down. Keep your mouth open and do not hold your breath. Place the cap firmly against your right nostril and press the button at the bottom until the solution drains from the other nostril or mouth. Step 4: Repeat step 3 for your left nostril.

Warning:

Not suitable for children under 8 years. For your own safety, do not use tap water to dissolve the mixture, unless it has been boiled for at least five minutes and cooled to lukewarm temperature. Other options include distilled water, micro-filtered water (by 0.2 microns) or commercially bottled water. Do not use if your nasal passages are completely blocked. Do not use if you have an ear infection or your ears are clogged. Consult your doctor before use if you have had ear or nose surgery in the last 6 months.
