Description

The SVBONY SV183 IR pass filter blocks wavelengths below 670nm to improve contrast and surface details and reduce the effects of vision in IR LRGB imaging of the moon and planets. With these longer wavelengths, planetary images are less disturbed by wavefront distortions in the atmosphere. Atmospheric vision and distortion decrease when you move further from the visible light into the infrared. Since CCD and CMOS sensors are sensitive to IR light, infrared imaging improves your results.

Please note: SVBONY filters are not designed for observation. It does not work for visual.
