●Multi-coating: the double-sided multi-layer coating and polishing minimises reflections effectively and is extremely resistant to water, mould, dirt and scratches.
●Pastel effect: marking flares are controlled, the contrast is lowered, but with less shadow lightening for a more delicate effect.
●Extremely slim: the ultra-thin, ultra-light aluminium frame only 3.3 mm can minimise the impact on the light. Vignetting can be effectively avoided with wide angle shots.

Digital cameras are getting better, which often makes the image "too sharp". What the filter makes the image appear less digital. Skin tones are softened throughout the entire area and thus also highlights caused by sweat or diminishing powder on the skin. Contrasts are reduced. A rather non-specific filter that still has its applications and has been an integral part of the Arsenal cinematic filter sets for many decades.
So if you want to see more subtle light courts around your lights and also want to weaken the more powerful reduction of contrasts in classic diffusion filters, the Black Mist 1/8 filters with black additional particles are just right.
