The Kenko DG food rings 12/20/36mm for Nikon converts almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining its original optical quality. They are mounted between the camera body and lens to create more distance between the lens and film level. Moving the lens further away from the cameras film or CCD sensor forces the lens to focus much closer than normal.
