Feature

●With the help of this test card, developed by nature photographer Benny Rebel, cameras and lenses can be tested relatively easily with regard to their quality and possible defects. This means that the test card offers a cost-effective way to check your own equipment individually, regardless of test reports that are often not representative for some lens and camera brands due to a high series distribution.
●For cameras, you can test the sharpness in the centre and at the edges, resolution, colour reproduction, contrast range, white balance, possible autofocus problems and image noise at different ISO settings. The test criteria for lenses include sharpness, resolution, contrast, colour rendering, edge shading, chromatic aberration, distortion, vignetting, possible autofocus problems, as well as possible decentring of the lenses.
●The test card is designed to combine four or nine identical cards into one seamless large test card. Such a large test area is important for testing wide-angle lenses. For normal and telephoto lenses, a single test card is sufficient, for lenses with a focal length between 50mm and 24mm you should use four test cards, and for highly wide-angle lenses with a focal length of less than 24mm, 9 test cards are ideal.
●Print quality: 400 dpi; dimensions: 30 x 45 cm; aspect ratio: 3:2

Description

This test card developed by nature photographer Benny Rebel allows cameras and lenses to be checked relatively easily with regard to their quality and possible defects. Test criteria include sharpness throughout the image, resolution, chromatic aberration and possible autofocus problems. A print quality of 400 dpi guarantees a high level of detail. This allows for particularly accurate testing of lens and camera properties. In addition, the test card is designed to combine four or nine identical cards into one seamless large test card. A large test area as it results is important for testing wide-angle lenses.
