Wireless into the universe with SkyPortal. The SkyPortal WLAN module allows you to wirelessly control almost any Celestron GOTO telescope with the optionally available app "SkyPortal" for iOS and Android. In this app (a full planetarium program), you can simply tap an observation target on the star map or in a list, and the telescope will automatically start it. The telescope can also be operated via SkyPortal without a hand controller, even the alignment is possible via SkyPortal. Even more possibilities with SkyPortal With the Celestron SkyPortal software, you can also address your SkyQ adapter. SkyPortal is a full-fledged planetarium program: hold your smartphone in the sky and you can see on the map which objects you have set; or search for an object and you will be guided there. After SkyPortal has connected to your telescope via the WiFi module and the alignment has been performed, you can control it comfortably via your smartphone. The software is based on SkySafari and is available free of charge for iOS (in the App Store) and Android (in the Play Store). The versions of SkySafari 4.x with telescopic control now support the SkyPortal adapter. SkyQ Link has been tested with the following Celestron computer-controlled devices; possibly Firmware update to the latest version is required: Advanced GT | Advanced VX | CGE Pro | CGEM | CGEM DX | CPC | SLT | SE 6/8 | SE 4/5 | LCM | SkyProdigy (no automatic initialization via StarSense, only 1-2-3-SkyAlign). Sky Portal does not work with NexStar GPS and NexStar i.
