The operation is very simple. When the TELRAD viewfinder is not used in the meantime, simply fold the dew cap as a cover over the projection screen of the viewfinder. The dew cap is made of impact-resistant plastic and also protects the projection screen of the viewfinder from scratches during transport. The subsequent installation of the dew cap is very simple and is done by the two screws on the side.
