The Giro L pre-tensioned inlet transmission belt winder is suitable for 23mm wide belts up to 12m in length. This means that it takes significantly more strap than an average belt winder without gears. Its long service life of over 20,000 work cycles combines it with other belt winders from Everoxx.
For belt winding at the beginning of the belt, cut a hole in the middle of the 23 mm wide strap. Thread the strap through the clamp and pass under the spring box. Hang the strap with the hole on the belt hook of the spring box and tighten it.
Please note: The spring box of the belt winder is tensioned, a sudden relaxation of the spring can lead to injury!
Now turn the tensioned spring box against the resistance and press in the side securing tab so that it slides through under the mounting arm without contact. Finally, let the strap shrink slowly.
The gear belt winder is placed in a wall box installed in the wall and screwed together with the cover plate. Screws are not included, we recommend screws M4x40. The hole spacing is 186 mm. The spring box centre should be located in the middle of the wall box and can be adjusted between 95 and 130 mm. The belt winder can hold up to 12.00 m belt (belt width: 23 mm), it is specially designed for operation of roller shutters with belt pulley transmission.
