The rotary split wedge is a special shape of the split wedge, and is used for efficient splitting of firewood. By twisting the cutting edge of approx. 45° widens the angle when hammering, thus achieving a higher splitting effect. Our wood splitting wedge has been crafted with a rounded striking surface to protect against chipping. If steels meet each other there may be chipping, so we recommend using a split hammer with plastic insert. The cutting edge is sharpened for easier insertion and hammering. Side grooves and notches for better grip, prevent the swivel wedge from jumping back even in frozen wood.
