The bottle must be cooled.The most important aspect to perform a proper sabrage is the temperature of the bottle. At low temperature, the glass loses elasticity and becomes rigid, which makes it easier to eject the bottle neck. The sommelier suggests to "sabre" a bottle with a temperature below 6 °C. The perfect temperature is 4 °C. |
Open the cork capsule and remove the wire mesh.Remove the aluminium foil before removing the wire cage on the cork. Hold your thumb on the cork. Now you have to identify the connection of the two halves of the bottle. The point where it meets the glass ring in which the cork is inserted is the point where the bottle must be hit. |
Everything is ready, now just sabel.The bottle must be slightly tilted when arm is stretched out - away from the face. Now you have to slightly push the YesEatIs champagne saber forward to hit the previously found point. If you hit the YesEatis sabre without much force with a generous and fluent movement to the above point, the cork jumps out of the bottle. |
