Description

Blemished: dhol, synthetic and goatskin heads, wooden drum with a synthetic head and a goatskin head. Horizontal both heads are played with mallets. The dhol is used in folk music from the North Indian state of Punjab. It provides the percussion for the popular pujab folk dance called Bhangra, which has now gained popularity in India. The shells are made in the Indian state of Punjab. Locally grown neem and sheesham are used.
