VL53L0X Time-of-Flight Distance Sensor is a new generation of laser distance measurement module, VL53L0X is a fully integrated sensor, equipped with embedded infrared, eye safety laser, advanced filter and high-speed photon detection array, measuring distance is longer, speed and accuracy higher.

Parameters:
1. ToF distance measurement length: ≤ 2 m.
2. Accuracy: Accuracy of 1% at distances up to 1 m (more than 10% at 2 m).
3. Detection time: ≤ 50 ms.
4. Power consumption: 20 mW.
5. Standby power consumption: 5μA.

Note:
1. The VL53L0X is a great IC, but its small, lead-free LGA housing makes it difficult for the typical student or hobbyist to use. Please read the reference documents for the VL53L0X carefully before use. (Contact customer service for more information)
2. VL53L0X is powered at a recommended voltage of 2.8V, which can make it difficult to connect microcontrollers that work with 3.3V or 5V. Our breakout board solves these problems and makes it easier to get started using the sensor, while keeping the overall size as small as possible.
