What mattress size for what age?
Depending on the age of the child and their individual needs, there are different sizes of childrens mattresses to choose from. For babies and toddlers, mattresses measuring 60 x 120 cm or 70 x 140 cm are usually recommended, while children aged 3-4 years can use mattresses measuring 70 x 140 cm or 90 x 200 cm.
The childrens mattress 80 x 160 cm is suitable for children up to a height of 140 cm and an age of approx. 11 years. Please note that the mattress is always at least 20 cm longer than your childs height.
For older children aged 5-6 years, a size of 90 x 200 cm is absolutely appropriate and useful as they need more space and move more while sleeping. It is important to choose a mattress that corresponds to the size of the child and their sleeping needs to ensure a restful and healthy sleep.
What hardness baby mattress?
For babies, it is recommended to use a firm to medium firm mattress instead of a soft mattress to ensure a safe and peaceful sleep. This degree of hardness prevents the baby from sinking too deep, which increases the risk of suffocation or overheating. A depth of about two to three centimetres is ideal for babies. How important is a baby mattress?

What hardness should childrens mattresses have?
