Aputure Lantern Softbox
Aputure COB LEDs shine with their versatility and the ability to produce hard or soft light by simply using different light modifiers. With the recent introduction of the Fresnel 2X and the Spotlight Mount to amplify and shape hard light, we decided it is time to introduce an easier way to shape soft light.
The Aputure Lantern Softbox with a diameter of 26 inches is ideal for use overhead or to increase the lighting level in the area. It offers the same omnidirectional light quality as the "China Balls" from the past, but is made from robust materials and has accessories such as a rock set to control the 270 degree beam path. The lantern has a Bowens mount that fits Aputure headlights such as the 120d or 300d series, but is also compatible with many other headlights that use this popular mount.
