With this connector for gas hoses and gas cylinders, you can bridge different connections without buying a new hose or gas regulator directly. The transition piece connects an external thread to an internal thread.
If you do not use the hose connector, it can be stored in the supplied polybag and placed on the side. Thanks to the bag, the adapter can be protected from minor scratches.
Technical details:
The adapter has a 3/8 inch left-hand thread to a 1/4 inch left-hand thread. So you can connect your propane gas hose with an external thread of 3/8 inch LH-KN to an internal thread with 1/4 inch left (IG G 1/4 x G 3/8 LH-KN).
High-quality material.
The gas hose adapter is made of brass. Brass has the advantages of being very robust and stable. In addition, it has no iron content and can therefore not rust. However, over time, an oxide layer can form on the material, but this has no negative consequences.
Note:
Please note that the internal thread of the gas connection does not seal conically. To seal it correctly, you should use Teflon tape, for example.
