(Ⅱ)A few important tips for drilling stainless steel and carbide:
(1) If you operate the step drill at low speeds and use a little suitable cutting fluid (drilling metal), its service life is extended.
(2) Add cutting fluid, engine oil or water to prevent the stainless steel from overheating and forming a very hard oxide layer.
It also works if you add some vinegar, soy sauce if you have no cutting liquid.
