For on-board batteries in classic lead-acid, lead-gel or lead-AGM as well as modern lithium LiFePO4 technology, the selectable charging programmes ensure a monitor-free, quick and gentle full charge from every charge state, with subsequent full upkeep and maintenance of the battery. Connected 12 V consumers are automatically supplied, even if the on-board grid is heavily loaded. The automatic power control ensures the necessary safety and start-up ability of the vehicle.
What added value does the use of a B2B charging converter offer me?
The charging converters ensure the optimal and fast charging of the supply battery from the alternator during the journey. Unlike the simple cut-off relay, the charging voltage is raised to the value required for the respective battery type for a full charge and required by the battery manufacturers. So the full charging current can flow and in a short time already charge significant amounts of electricity into the battery. Long charging cables and losses are adjusted cleanly, as well as voltage fluctuations on the alternator. For charging converters with different input and output voltages (12V/24V or 24V/12V) the easy charging of a second battery is possible even without the installation of a second alternator. br>
