This coupling ring has an external thread in diameter 52 mm and another external thread in diameter 67 mm (male-male connection).
With this coupling ring, you can primarily connect a second lens in a retro position (upside down) to your camera lens safely and precisely via the respective filter thread.
The lens in retro position acts like a close-up lens, which shortens the closest focus distance of your camera lens. As a result, you can significantly reduce the distance to the motif and you can achieve fabulous macro shots. The sharpness setting on the front lens must be manually made.

You can also use the clutch ring as a coupling for all filters, other adapters, lens hoods or extensions.
