KED® - Helmets differ externally by a special design feature: maxSHELL® technology. In these manufacturing processes, almost the entire EPS inner shell is covered by the outer microshell, even into the ventilation openings. (Maximum Microshell Coverage) With the Quicksafe adjustment system, KED offers one of the best rotary wheel adjustment systems. The new version of the Quicksafe adjustment system has been optimised in detail. The handling has been improved by a new mechanism and ergonomics. The fine rating is given in both directions and unintentional overturning is excluded. In addition, the system is now even smaller, which is especially beneficial for childrens helmets or hairstyles with ponytails. Other features include a high-quality reflector and powerful flashing lights with easy battery/board change. ACTIVE VISIBILITY: KED® also demonstrates its innovative strength in terms of visibility with superior technology. Against conventional retroreflective stickers, KED® consistently relies on active visibility thanks to integrated safety flashing lights with 180° (with front light and reflective strips (legally protected) up to 360° visibility.) The QUICKSAFE® indicator lights can be seen independently of an external light source. They can be recognized by car drivers even if the headlight cone has not yet been detected. The shape-embossed air ducts and mesh inserts of the quick-drying microfibre interior are perfectly matched to the outer air inlets and ensure an excellent head climate. The entire interior is easy to remove for washing.
