When the pot body appears rainbow colours, this is caused by excessive heating of salt and minerals in the food. It can be cleaned with stainless steel cleaner.
After use, whether with normal detergent or stainless steel cleaner, rinse the pot with clean water and wipe dry with a dry rag. Otherwise, the detergent remaining in the pot will corrode the surface of the pot when wet.
