SeaStar Solutions (formerly Teleflex Marine) has set the standard in the marine industry with their steering cables by using superior design, technology and materials.

All SeaStar Solutions steering cables meet or exceed ABYC safety standards and ISO/IMCI/NMMA certification requirements. The SeaStar Solutions SSC62xx steering cable is equipped with a simple swivel quick connect for easy installation.

The SeaStar difference:

• A tightly controlled core for precise steering
• The outer jacket is made of HDPE, a high-density polyethylene material that is abrasion resistant and provides high resistance to water penetration
• Output end is constructed of stainless steel to provide reliability and durability for corrosion resistance

The SeaStar Solutions SSC62xx steering cables are intended for use with a station only. This steering cable is only recommended as a replacement for the original system installed by the boat manufacturer. SeaStar Solutions always recommends No-Feedback (NFB) helmets for outboard applications. NFB helmets lock out steering loads caused by propeller torque, eliminating rider fatigue that normally occurs with a standard helmet. Patented SeaStar Solutions NFB steering helmets are a replacement for the standard rotation system.

Upgrade options to consider:

• The Xtreme steering sets SSX176XX for tilt-proof steering wheels or SSX177XX for tilt steering. These single rope steering system replacement parts are the easiest to control on the market today.

SeaStar products are backed by a two-year recreational user **against manufacturer defects. SeaStar steering cables are environmentally tested for marine applications.
