Usage The CALPEDA C three-phase centrifugal water pump is ideally used for agricultural and industrial applications for liquids with impurities or emulsions. Calpeda is recommended for this water pump to use up to 90°C. The ambient temperature of the room where this surface pump is to be installed must not exceed 40°C. Design: The CALPEDA Cm open wheel pump consists of a pump body and a cast iron lantern, which can accept an operating pressure of up to 6 bar. The turbine is made of brass. The 2-pin induction motor rotates at a speed of 2900 rpm, with protection class IP54, class F and continuous operation. The induction motor of class IE3 allows high efficiency with low power consumption. Lipsotherm and capacitor are not integrated on this 380V 3-phase motor. The clutch shaft between turbine and induction motor is made of stainless steel. The standard mechanical insert is made of hard carbon and ceramic and allows for a good seal between the pump body and induction motor. For a longer life of the water pump, this filling can be replaced.
