Description
To avoid overexposure of the sky, the filter is darkened in the upper area by 3 stops and runs with a medium transition into a clear area.

This filter has a size of 100 mm x 150 mm and is compatible with the NiSi 100 mm filter holder.
The NiSi Nano IR Medium GND (Graduated Neutral Density) filter is specially designed for landscape photographers. This filter, like all other NiSi filters, is made of optical glass (not resin/plastic). The glass surface is finely ground and polished to ensure perfect sharpness for todays ultra-high megapixel cameras.
NiSi GND filters are colour-neutral without distorting the image and have the unique nano-coating technology from NiSi. The multi-layer coating also reduces reflection on the surface of the filter to minimise ghosting and flare effects. Water, dust and oil do not stick to the filter and therefore make cleaning much easier. Thanks to the coating of the surface, NiSi filters are also particularly scratch-resistant.
When using ND filters, the camera is susceptible to infrared light due to the longer exposure time, which leads to unwanted colour casts. Therefore, the NiSi filters are equipped with an infrared protective layer that prevents the infrared light from letting through the lens and thus reproducing the natural colours.
