Description

Securely fix the awning. A tear-resistant rope ensures a stable connection of awnings and their mounting element such as an awning pole or a wall eyelet. With the rope, a very individual distance can be adjusted for tensioning. The material: the cord made of weatherproof PP is lightweight, yet robust and ideal for outdoor applications. It can be easily tied or knotted and shortened to the desired length. The attachment of a sun sail. The mounting options of the awning are as diverse as the gardens and terraces on which they provide shade. The basic requirement is always that the awning is anchored at all corners. Anchoring elements such as Sun sail pole, holding eyelet on the wall, eyelet screw for posts etc. With the help of connecting elements (rope, D-shackle, carabiner, tension anchor, tension strap, tension spring), the awning is hung in the anchoring element. So that you can attach and tighten your awning as comfortably as possible, Windhager offers a wide range of sun protection accessories. It is important to think of the necessary gradient of at least 15° from the outset and attach the first fixings high enough. The gradient of 15° (approx. 15 cm per metre) is used to ensure that the rain does not collect on the sail, but can drain off. Rain that accumulates on the awning not only makes the sail heavier and increases the total load on the attachment, but can also lead to deformation of the fabric in extreme cases, which cannot be remedied even by re-tensioning, firmer tensioning. With the correct attachment, sun sails are very wind-resistant. Nevertheless, it is recommended to remove the sail in storms, thunderstorms, very heavy rain or storms.
