3. Improved chip removal thanks to U-shaped recess.
The special geometry of the gap reduces the thermal load on the HSS core drill, as the heat generated during machining is dissipated largely with the chip.
4. Reduction of friction between the HSS core drill and the workpiece thanks to optimised, spiral guide chamfers.

• Insert the ejector pin into the core drill.
• Slide the core drill into the receptacle holder and tighten the hexagon socket screws firmly.
• Ensure that the core drill fits clean in the holder
• With the EasyLock quick-release mount, the core drill is automatically locked.
• Immediately drill to size, no need to punch or pre-drill.
• The cutting edge geometry of the core drill allows quick chip removal upwards.
• The spring-loaded ejector pin helps loosen the cut out pieces.
• Check the speed chart and use coolant.
