Separable roller FOLLOWERS
Roller followers are bearings designed for outer ring rotation, in which needle rollers are incorporated into a thick-walled outer ring.
Support rollers are detachable and non-separable types. These bearings are available in a variety of types almost any type of application. They are widely used for cam mechanisms and for linear movements of conveyor systems.
Assembly:
1. For shielding and sealed types, the side surface correctly correspond to the pairing seat by the dimension a indicated in the dimension chart and release. (See image 1)
2. When mounting support rollers, pay special attention to the oil hole of the inner ring within the loading zone to avoid locating. This can lead to a short life of the bearing. (See image 2.)
3. When separable support rollers sealed mounting make the side plates do not cause them to come off. If they come loose, put them back in place to avoid damaging the sealing lips.
4. In the case of the support rollers without inner ring, the shaft requires heat treatment and grinding finish. The recommended surface hardness of the shaft 58-64HRC and the recommended roughness of the shaft is 0.2 umra or less.
The outer ring and cage are also guided by the side surfaces of the mounting parts. Therefore, it is recommended that the side surfaces of the fastening parts are finished by grinding or at least by machining processing. (See image 3.)
5. The side plates are pressed into non-separable support rollers. Therefore, if the support rollers do not push the side plates.
Features:
