To maintain the protective properties of your neoprene cap and extend the service life, we recommend that you follow the following care instructions:
1. After each use, rinse with clear water to remove salt water or chlorine residue.
2. You can wash them in the shower with pH neutral soap and then rinse well to remove the soap residue.
3. Turn the cap over and let it dry from the inside to the outside in the shade, preferably outdoors or in a well-ventilated place.
4. Once the inside of the cap is completely dried, turn it over so that the outside of the cap can dry properly and it is ready for the next use.
Hand wash with cold water. Do not tumble dry or iron.
The recommended water temperature range for Trilaminate Warmth 2.5 mm caps is between 10 °C and 21 °C, but depends primarily on the swimming time, weather conditions and personal needs of the swimmer.
We have 3 sizes on offer so you can find the right one for your head. Refer to the size chart.
If you swim at water temperatures below 21°C, you should not only prepare appropriately, but also be equipped according to your own cold tolerance. The extremities are most affected because they are least protected, which is why they are the most sensitive parts of our body in terms of heat sensitivity and heat loss. When you are prepared for it, the cold should not be an obstacle or stop them from swimming in open water when the water temperatures drop.
The Buddyswim neoprene socks are made from 2.5 mm thick Trilaminate Warmth, an exclusive three-layer fabric and neoprene composition developed by Buddyswim, which offers maximum comfort and flexibility in all movements, in addition to optimal protection against the cold.
The ergonomic design, vulcanised and heat-sealed seams, as well as the unique interior with smoothskin rubber closure and an extra long shaft ensure a comfortable fit and provide incredible waterproofing so you can keep your feet warm while swimming in open water.
LIVE, LOVE, SWIM.
