It allows you to hold the pliers securely in place when gently tightening the load. The pliers are coated in deep black RAL 9005 with UV-resistant powder coating, ready assembled and tested. A holding nose is attached in the upper area, which points outwards when delivered, so that the pliers can be used throughout the opening area. If you loosen the shackle and a screw, you can turn the holding nose inwards 180° so that the pliers remain a little open when closed. This allows the pliers to slip over the trunk on its own when loading with the front loader and does not have to be opened manually.
