Lower static stretch: Static stretch measures how much a rope stretches with a weight of 176 pounds tied at one end. A good percentage is about 7 percent. A higher static elongation generally indicates lower efficiency as energy is wasted through the rope elongation.

The rope consists of a rope skin and an inner core, and both are made of nylon fibres.

When the inner core of a rope is made, the machine wraps it synchronously into a rope to form a finished rope.

Although the inner core is not visible, the quality of the entire rope can be assessed by carefully observing the skin of the rope.

The thickness of the skin and the number of turns around the rope determine the wear resistance and durability of the rope.
