How to choose the right saw chain?

Determine the length of the guide rod by measuring the length from the base to the tip. |
Chain thickness is the thickness of the drive link. The chain size is determined by measuring the part of the chain link that sits in the groove of the guide rail. |
The chain pitch indicates the distance between the drive links. Measure the division by counting three links in a row and dividing by two. |
Count each drive link to determine the total number of drive links in your chain. |
