The Salt Off® applicator from STAR BRITE makes it easy and convenient to apply. The applicator works with a garden hose and either a motor flush unit or a spray nozzle. Salt Off® by STAR BRITE is a biodegradable product that removes salt deposits quickly and effectively. It leaves a protective polymer layer that protects against future salt deposits and prevents corrosion damage. It can be used for removing salt deposits on fiberglass, metal, vinyl, plastic and painted surfaces as well as fishing and diving equipment. Use as engine flushing in I/O and outboard engines. Directions To remove salt deposits from outer sea surfaces, trailers, diving gear, fishing rods and reels: fill the dispenser cup of the Salt Off® applicator with Salt Off® concentrate. Attach one end of the applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a trigger watering nozzle. Make sure the black button on the applicator is in the "ON" position and the blue button is in the "Mix" position. Soak all surfaces to be treated thoroughly and leave Salt Off® to work for 5 to 10 minutes. Stubborn deposits may require light brushing. Rinse with fresh water and allow treated surfaces to air dry. For flushing inboard and outboard engines: fill the dispenser cup with Salt Off® concentrate. Attach one end of the applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a sink unit suitable for your engine type. Make sure the black button on the applicator is in the "ON" position and the blue button is in the "Only Water" position. Let the engine run until it reaches the normal operating temperature. Once the operating temperature is reached, turn off the motor, turn the blue button to "mix" and check if the solution is flowing. Restart the engine and let it run until the dispenser cup is free and the product is used up. Salt Off polymer coating protects the engine from future rust and corrosion. NOTE: Do not store Salt Off® in the applicator when not in use.
