The Roland S-1 comes from the AIRA series and is a powerful polyphonic micro synthesizer inspired by the Roland SH-101.

The compact S-1 delivers crisp bass and expressive lead sounds. In addition, there are various wave manipulations, integrated sequencing and sophisticated performance functions.

The oscillator, envelope, filter and LFO sections provide the basis for creative sound design. The 26 multi-function pads can be played like a keyboard - over 2 octaves. In addition, the integrated step sequencer and useful shortcuts for effect control.

With the step-loop function, live fills can be generated in an instant. With the chorus effects of the Juno and JX-3P and manual and tempo synchronous delays, even more colour and dynamics come into play.

The synthesizer can be used with DAWs and music apps via USB-C The S-1 becomes a standalone sound module via the MIDI connections.
