The different handlebar bends cause different riding positions. Depending on the area of use of the bicycle, the required handlebars also result in terms of the own sitting position and settings of other components such as stem, saddle and bicycle geometry. What each individual bend causes is explained in the respective article.

12° backsweep.12° backsweep.

12° backsweep - Which handlebar type is needed?

Plays perfectly in the hands of the active gravity biker. The 12° backsweep ensures a straight transition from the forearm to the hand during short reach and rather upright sitting position and protects the wrist from extreme downhills. The 4° upsweep determines the elbow position for active riding style. Three different heights ensure an individual adjustment of the sitting position.

16° backsweep.16° backsweep.

16° backsweep - Which handlebar type is needed?

Ideal for marathons and long mountain bike tours. The 16° backsweep ensures a straight transition from forearm to hand when the sitting position is stretched. The 4° upsweep determines the elbow position for active riding style. Three different heights ensure an individual adjustment of the sitting position.
