Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. (* August 14, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan) is a former American basketball player. Together with Larry Bird, he shaped the transformation of the NBA in the 1980s. The 2.06-metre Johnson played mainly as a Point Guard due to its exceptional passing skills, although this position is usually occupied with smaller players.
