Description

Anyone who operates very powerful amplifiers in the vehicle knows the problem: In bass attacks, the nominal 12 volt electrical system goes down to the knees, which stands out in the flickering lighting in time to the music. The problem: a car battery is very strong, but due to a high internal resistance, it is not able to emit fast current pulses. However, these are needed to ensure that very powerful amplifiers can play bass dry and clean.

With the new hybrid buffer capacitors from the ZEUS EXTREME ZXT series, such problems are a thing of the past. Thanks to modern hybrid technology, which uses electrolyte liquid and polymer as the foil base, it is possible to accommodate up to 10 Farad capacities in compact housings. At the same time, the technology ensures very low internal series resistance (ESR), so that the performance is available in an instant.

ZEUS EXTREME ZXT capacitors deliver the saved extra power when the subwoofer amplifier immediately requires a lot of energy for the violent bass rash. After that, the energy emitted is recharged from the battery in the power cap for the next attack. The capacitor can therefore buffer and smooth voltage spikes by absorbing excess energy and releasing it again if necessary.

Positive side effect: The life of a vehicle battery can be extended by using a buffer capacitor.
