In spring and autumn, reception interference can occur temporarily on satellite television since the sun is exactly behind the satellite, from which the programs are received. In clear weather conditions, very high temperatures (up to 220 °C) can occur on the LNB feedhorn, which can lead to damage to the cap. The head of the Schwaiger Quattro LNB can withstand even these extreme conditions. A removable weather cover protects the connections. In the focal point of the satellite bowl, the LNB collects the reception data and transmits it to a multi-switch. The transmission frequency range is between 950 and 2,150 MHz.
