[1 Stück | 13x1000x11 mm (BxLxH) Grey]
Anyone who has ever tried to attach removable awnings, tarpaulin or awning fabrics to a house wall, tent devices, on a trade fair stand or on camping vehicles on a large area and largely wrinkle-free, will sooner or later come across the simple but ingenious system of piping rails and tent piping. So that a tarpaulin, which is supposed to serve as a wind protection on a party tent, can be put under tension over a large area and evenly, it is first provided with a pull-in pipe, which is usually welded or sewn on.
This edge reinforcement consists of a round core, the piping bead, which is completely covered by a surface material, usually made of polyester fabric. The hem of this sheath fabric usually protruding several centimetres is called piping flag and serves as a connection hem to the awning or tarpaulin fabric, with which it is permanently welded or sewn. A large-area tarpaulin is ready, which is extremely hard-wearing coated at the edges, provided with uniformly high piping bead, which can be easily inserted into the matching piping rails without significant abrasion.
Lysel aluminium piping rail 13 x 11.72 mm anodised (length: 1 metre) are made from one of the most solid and dimensionally stable lightweight metals, aluminium. Anodised material is particularly easy to clean, scratch-resistant, as well as resistant to corrosion and environmental influences.
Easy installation is possible by screwing or gluing. The delivery is without mounting holes, these can be drilled as required with a standard drill.
The groove with an opening width of 5.8 mm and an inner diameter of 10 mm is suitable for holding tent piping with a diameter of 6.5 - 9.0 mm (including coating).
